About Us

DR. KATYA

Dr. Ekaterina (Katya) Yankelevich graduated summa cum laude from Wright State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She went on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and received her D.D.S. degree in 2000. She stayed at OSU for the General Practice Residency, where in addition to treating medically and physically compromised patients, she gained experience in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, anesthesiology and general medicine. In 2006, she purchased Village DentalCare in German Village and in April 2009 she moved her practice to a renovated facility in the burgeoning Short North/Victorian Village neighborhood. Dr. Katya takes numerous continuing education courses every year. She is constantly learning new techniques, procedures and materials to bring the best dentistry available in the world to her patients at Dennison Dental Care. Outside of the office, Dr. Katya enjoys exploring Columbus and ballroom dancing.

TERRI, PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR

Terri joined Dennison Dental Care in October 2008. She began her career in dental administration in early 2000 after working for over ten years in medical offices. In addition to coordinating treatment, Terri handles all insurance and billing-related issues. After hours, she enjoys being with her family, checking out live music, and traveling.

JULIE, DENTAL HYGIENIST

Julie graduated from The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in 1996. She has a positive attitude, a gentle touch and great attention to detail.  In her free time, Julie enjoys a good happy hour and spending time with her boys.

BECKY, DENTAL HYGEINIST

Becky graduated from The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in 1996 (with Julie!) She has a way of putting patients at ease, is very thorough, and is a natural team-player.  In her free time, she's busy renovating her 1870's house and spending time with her family.

COREY, DENTAL HYGENIST

Corey started filling in for us right after graduating from The Ohio State University in 2022. With his calm demeanor, and clinical skills, it didn't take us long to ask him to join the team and he's with us part-time. When he isn't working, he enjoys being with his fiance (and their beloved dog), and playing the drums with his band.

IRINA, DENTAL ASSISTANT

Irina moved to the United States from Russia 4 years ago. She has a background working in customer service. With her lively, caring personality and her ability to learn new skills, she is a perfect fit for our practice. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

OLENA, DENTAL ASSISTANT

Olena moved from Ukraine just a year ago. She has 5 years of experience in the dental field in her native town of Lviv. Olena has adapted very well to her new life in Columbus. She enjoys traveling (preferably to a beach), and reading.
